Lindsay Lohan has been mysteriously quiet these past few years after being the centre of attention for a long time.
Although she became one of Hollywood’s many household names, her fame and attention were primarily due to her off-screen behaviour and controversial scandals.
Her career has been filled with ups and downs, including drug and alcohol abuse, deplorable decisions and overall behaviour. She entered rehab in 2014, however, after finally changing her ways.
In 2022, where is this talented actress and what are her plans? We’ll start by finding out what Lindsay Lohan has been up to.
Where is Lindsay Lohan now?
There’s no stopping Lohan from acting now! According to Deadline, her deal with Netflix for three upcoming projects was signed in March 2022. In Falling for Christmas, due out in late 2022, Lohan plays a spoiled heiress. The latter forgets her old life after suffering an amnesia-induced skiing accident and becomes obsessed with the ski lodge owner, played by Chord Overstreet.
According to Netflix Director of Independent Film Christina Rogers, in a statement announcing the comeback project, “We are happy to continue our collaboration with Lindsay in the future. We look forward to working with her again.”

The post-production of Falling for Christmas is underway, while Lohan is prepping Cursed, a horror thriller in which Mickey Rourke costars as Detective Mary Branigan.

Can you tell me what happened to Lindsay Lohan?
Despite her career peak with Mean Girls in 2004, Lohan has had quite a few careers and personal ups and downs, but has mostly been laying low since her sixth stint in rehab and her 2014, Oprah Winfrey-hosted docuseries Lindsay about her efforts to rebuild her life following severe setbacks, including substance abuse, career failures, toxic relationships, and even a miscarriage. She credits Winfrey with saving her life.
During a 2019 interview with her Mean Girls, costar Jonathan Bennett, she said, “Oprah gave me a different perspective on life. I was tired of being there for everyone and taking care of everyone, and I just wanted to be there for myself. There’s nothing wrong with being alone.”
She enjoyed putting the past behind her once and for all.
Her former life as a troubled star followed by paparazzi was poked fun at in the new Super Bowl commercial.
But, working out is something she enjoys today.

A romantic comedy is scheduled later this year, with Lohan in the lead role. Additionally, she has judged The Masked Singer Australia and recently released new music. As far as we know, Lohan is doing fine these days – she is living in Dubai and has not been arrested yet.
As well as living abroad, away from the spotlight, she loves living abroad. W Magazine quoted her saying, “I find a sense of calm in Dubai.” My life is more accessible now because there are no paparazzi or cameras around. Everything is in its proper place. However, my head needed to be cleansed, and it took me some time to do it.”
It has yet to be announced when Lohan and Bader Shammas will tie the knot, but the happy couple looks very excited about the prospect of their future together.
In addition to living in Dubai, Lohan is engaged to a financier.
Lohan revealed to Extra that she is engaged (to Bader Shammas). She said she was looking for destinations and a dress.
During the show, she revealed she had lived in Dubai for years. “I love living in Dubai because it’s so far away from my home country, America.”. There, I can find a sense of peace and tranquillity that I can’t find anywhere else.”
The things that made her happy were what she focused on. Having the Super Bowl commercial made her realize that she missed shooting and delivering great content. Lohan said she had a lot of fun filming the ad, which was kept a secret. For several years, she hadn’t filmed anything in Los Angeles. She described it as “really exciting.”
