While studying anthropology at the University of Southern California, she attended Los Alamitos High School and Orange County High School of the Arts. Brooks Wackerman of Avenged Sevenfold and Jodie Sweetin of Full House was also in her Los Alamitos High class. Wackerman graduated in 1995, German in 1997, and Sweetin in 1999.
